Tristan Bircham and Alia Minoletti were the only representatives for the Eureka Vandals boys and girls track teams at the Mickie Costanzo Memorial Invitational meet in Elko last week. No final team scores were posted.

But both set personal records in one of their respective events, Bircham with a throw of 38-4 in winning the Shot Put, and Minoletti with a time of 14.17 in the 100 meters. She currently has the third best time in the girls 1A ranks in the 100 meters behind Kayla Campos and Emma Jemmerigbe from Tonopah.

Birchman also took third in the Discus.

BOYS

100 meters – Tristan Bircham, 12.62

Shot Put – Bircham, first place, 38-4

Discus – Bircham, third place, 102-0½

GIRLS

100 meters – Alia Minoletti, 14.71

High Jump – Minoletti, 4-6

Long Jump – Minoletti, 12-6½

Triple Jump – Minoletti, 31-0

The teams compete in the Elko Kiwanis Invitational this Friday.
