Eureka hosted their own invitational meet last week. The meet did not include a boys high jump or pole vault event, but the girls did have both those events.

The Vandal boys don’t have a large team, only six on the squad, but they managed to come away with 14 points.

Meanwhile the Lady Vandals did very well, tallying 104 points for a third place finish in a 10-team field.

Alia Minoletti won the Triple Jump and was second in the High Jump. Angel Greely and Ihylia Greely were first and second in the Discus and Angelika Townsend was first in the 800 meters and third in the 400 meters. The girls also won the 4x800 relay race.

This week, the Vandal teams take part in the White Pine Invitational in Ely on Friday.
