Medical marijuana stakeholders meetings scheduled in Nevada

The Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health is holding a Medical Marijuana Stakeholders meeting Feb. 24, 2014, at 10 a.m.

Bureau Chief Chad Westom will discuss Legislative Counsel Bureau requirements related to cultivation and production of marijuana and an overview of the medical marijuana cardholders program. Deputy Administrator Marla McDade Williams will discuss LCB requirements related to testing of marijuana. Time is allotted for public comment.

Meeting locations are at Nevada State Legislative Building, Room 1214, 401 S. Carson St. Carson City, and the Grant Sawyer State Office Building, Room 4412, 555 E. Washington Ave. in Las Vegas.
