Balloons Over the Diamonds

Courtesy photo - A Hot Air Balloons Over the Diamonds event will take place July 29-31 in Eureka. The event is free to the public, and a meet and greet with the balloonists will be held on July 29 in front of the train car on Bateman Street. Refreshments will be served and there will be music by the band Just Wait. A balloon glow will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. that day. On July 30-31 there will be a morning launch at 6:30 a.m. from the Eureka Airport. A thanks goes out to the following for their support with this event: Suburban Propane, Bob Dory, Eureka County Recreation Board, Eureka Activities, Pony Express Deli, Owl Club, Malarkey’s, Eureka Chevron, Just Wait Band and Donna and Jim Engdahl.
