The Eureka County High football team suffered its second straight loss Friday night to the hands of Whittell at home, 68-8.
The Warriors torched the Vandal defense early, and raced out to a 42-0 lead after the first quarter. It didn’t get any better for the home team, as Eureka trailed 54-0 at half before adding a late touchdown to get on the board for its only score.
It was the second game in a row that the Vandals would struggle as they fell at Coleville 44-20 the previous week.
The Vandals (1-2) will look to get back on track Friday night when they host Wells (1-2) at 7 p.m.
