Eureka’s track teams competed in the 10-team Spring Creek League Meet March 16 in Spring Creek.

The Vandals small teams only had two boys competing, Tyler Blanco and Garrett Todd, and eight on the girls team.

However, Todd placed second in both the boys High Jump and Long Jump. Over on the girls side Isabella Greely was third in the Long Jump, the girls were second in the 4×100 and 4×200 relays, Melissa Schweble tied for third in the Shot Put and Isabella Minoletti was third in the Long Jump.

The Triple Jump was not contested at the meet for either boys or girls.

This week, the Bobcats will be at the Pershing County Invitational in Lovelock March 23, and go to the Mickie Costanzo Memorial Invitational March 29 at West Wendover.
