The Eureka girls track team did well competing against teams from all classifications at the Elko Kiwanis Invitational meet April 6. They scored 81 points in a field of nine teams.

Isabella Minoletti, the 1A girls state leader in the triple jump, won the event with a personal record of 31-7 and she was second place in the long jump.

Angelika Townsend placed fourth in both the 800 and 1600 meters.

Kyra Todd was third in the 100m hurdles.

Melissa Schweble, Alia Minoletti, Ilyhia Greely and Skylar Merritt placed four, five, six and seven in the girls shot put.

The Vandal boys, only three athletes, only entered five events and scored 13 points for seventh place in a field of 11 teams..
