The Eureka County Juvenile Probation Office (JPO) has scheduled its annual ski trips for March, offering local students in grades 5 through 12 an opportunity for winter recreation. The program is open to students attending Eureka County Elementary and Eureka High School, as well as those in homeschool or online education programs. The first excursion for students in grades 5-8 is set for March 5-6, followed by the high school trip for grades 9-12 on March 12-13.
Participation requires the completion of a registration and medical release form. The associated fees cover the bulk of the trip’s requirements, including lodging, transportation, equipment rentals, professional lessons, and most meals. Attendees are responsible for their own dinner on Friday night, as well as any discretionary spending on snacks or souvenirs.
Interested families can obtain more information and access necessary forms through the Juvenile Probation Office’s website or by contacting their office directly at 775-237-5450
