CARSON CITY – The Nevada Off-Highway Vehicles Program is now accepting applications for off-highway vehicle (OHV) projects in the state. The grant application and manual are available online at https://ohv.nv.gov/grant-program.
Applications are due by March 23, 2025.
Every year, the Nevada Commission on Off-Highway Vehicles supports statewide OHV-related initiatives that promote safe and memorable outdoor experiences on Nevada’s extensive OHV trail system.
Funded by Nevada’s OHV registration fees, this grant program supports trail planning, maintenance, land acquisition, mapping, signage, law enforcement, education, safety training, and conservation efforts.
Recent OHV grant recipients include trailhead infrastructure projects in Lincoln and Nye Counties, educational programs with Nevada Outdoor School and the Nevada Offroad Association, and new equipment for OHV law enforcement in Storey and Lyon Counties.
