ELY – The Bureau of Land Management is seeking public comment to inform the development of a herd management area plan for the Antelope and Triple B wild horse complexes.
“The herd management plan will identify and set objectives for wild horses and their habitat in future years in support of our mission to manage healthy wild horses on healthy public lands,” said BLM Ely District Manager Robbie McAboy.
An initial evaluation describing key issues to be addressed in the plan is available for public review at https://eplanning.blm.gov/eplanning-ui/project/2034747/510. The BLM plans to develop and issue a final plan within approximately one year.
Written comments may be emailed to BLM_NV_EYDO_Antelope_Triple_B_Complexes_Mangement_Evaluation@blm.gov (preferred), or delivered to the BLM Bristlecone Field Office, Attn: Ben Noyes, 702 North Industrial Way, Ely, NV 89301. The comment period will close Nov. 14, 2024.
