This holiday season, Eureka County is a shining example of the Christmas spirit, fostering a sense of warmth and togetherness. Mike and Jonica Gonzalez, with their children Jayton and Jade, have created a spectacular show that lights up Diamond Valley. Using approximately 7,500 light bulbs, the display is run from control boxes fed via ethernet cords. Each control box runs up to 16 sets of lights.
The control box also feeds the FM transmitter that plays the music over the radio station, and programming for each song is done with online software. The songs are downloaded to a chip and played with the control box. By utilizing multiple chips, a wide variety of songs can be played.
Tune in to FM 90.1 to listen to the holiday music. The valley is a must-visit destination during the holiday season, and the Gonzalez home is a highlight, featuring a festive and fun Christmas display.
