Donna Bailey

Donna Bailey of Pine Valley, Nevada, passed away on 6/24/2014 at Heritage Assisted Living, in Twin Falls, ID after a short illness with cancer.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Hale, son Michael, parents Edna and Donald Miller, brother Vernon, and sister Darlene.  

She is survived by her son Larry Kilpatrick(Carol), son Jim Bailey, son Ray Bailey (Jackie), son Dan Bailey (Stephanie), grandsons Drew, Cory & Mace Kilpatrick, grandson Chancey Bailey (Terry), granddaughter Desire’ Murillo (Chris), several great-grandchildren, sister Marlene, niece Teresa Phillips (Chris), extended family and friends.

Donna was born in Greely, CO on February 11, 1938.  Her family later moved to Ely and then Eureka.  Donna  remained in Nevada where she raised her family with her husband on the Bailey Ranch  in Pine Valley.  She was an active member of the NV Cattlewomen and 4-H organizations for many years.  She later followed in Hale’s footsteps and became a Eureka County Commissioner.  Her last wish was to remain in her home as long as possible.  This was accomplished with the loving care of her niece Teresa Phillips and family.

There will not be a public service or memorial for Donna at her request.  She will be inurned at the Pine Valley Cemetery with Hale at a later date.
