Eureka Lions Club Halloween fun planned this month

The Ely Lions Club is hosting a pumpkin patch on Oct. 25 at the R Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pumpkins are priced at $0.40 per pound. There will be a carved pumpkin contest. Join in family fun, indulge in baked goods, try face painting and even get a few shots of fall photos by Fabrizo. The pumpkin patch is sponsored by Raines Market, Eureka 4H Club and the Eureka Lions Club. 

Make room for spooktacular fun on Oct. 30 by joining the Eureka Lions Club’s Halloween Costume and Carved Pumpkin Contest at Eureka Elementary School. The costume contest is open to all ages, from infants to high school. The carved pumpkin contest is open to ages from infant to adult. There will be first-, second- and third-place prizes for each category. Reading begins at 6 p.m., with reading skits performed by Diamond Mt. FFA Chapter.
