Bookworms within Eureka County are encouraged to join the Mindfulness Bookclub organized by Eureka local, Josie Hoekenga, who is eager to create a bookclub that encourages self-reflection and growth.
Intending to create a space for individuals to meet monthly to expand on their mind and awareness, Hoekenga announced she is organizing a Mindfulness Bookclub, beginning in 2025. Details still need to be determined, but she intends to meet once a week / month to review a group-decided book to discuss different perspectives and ideas on the same content. The book club will be free to all (excluding the responsibility of purchasing the books) and will have complimentary tea and snacks. Individuals interested in having fun, or seeking friendships through reading and self-improvement are encouraged to reach out to Hoekenga at 775-318-0138.
