Community members are formally invited to the Town of Eureka Community meetings on Oct. 28 and 29 at the Eureka Opera House to discuss opportunities to boost the local economy within the next five years. Community members are encouraged to use their voice and develop a plan to build a more successful economic plan for the future. The workshops, led by the University of Nevada, Reno’s Center for Economic Development, are centered around creating ideas and receiving feedback on community growth ideas to benefit Eureka County. A big aspect of the workshop is completing a 38-question survey that can be completed before or after the workshop. The survey takes about 20 to 25 minutes to complete, and all responses are confidential and purely recorded to inform of the county’s long-term priorities. The survey can be reached at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2025EurekaSurvey and closes on Nov. 7.
The first community meeting is on Oct. 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Eureka Opera House, located on 31 S. Main Street. The second meeting is on Oct. 29, same time and location. Light snacks and refreshments will be available.
Registration is not required, but it is heavily encouraged to secure your spot. To register, visit 2025EurekaCommunityWorkshops.eventbrite.com.
