Eureka volleyball drops match at Lund, defeats McDermitt at home

The Eureka High School volleyball team played at Lund on Thursday, Oct. 9, falling to the Mustangs, 3-0.

The first two games were tight, with Lund escaping the first, 26-24, and holding on in the second, 25-20, before putting the match away in the third, 25-11.

Eureka bounced back the following day at home against McDermitt, defeating the Bulldogs 25-21, 25-22, 25-16.

The Vandals (6-8, 6-1) visit Owyhee on Friday, Oct. 10, and Carlin at noon the following day.
