With perfect weather on July 4, the community lined Main Street to participate in family-friendly patriotic festivities prepared by the Eureka Volunteer Fire Department.

The parade began at 10 a.m. lining Main Street with patriotic floats, followed by street games for all ages. Members of the community showed up strong in numbers to not only show pride for their country, but their community as well.

The evening ended with red, white and blue streaks in the sky as a result of the firework show that began at dark.
