Lady Vandals get 3 seed

Eureka players battle for a rebound in a 43-18 loss to first-place McDermitt last weekend. The Lady Vandals finished the regular season 16-6 overall and 6-4 in league to finish in third place in the IV Northern East conference. They enter the regional playoffs as the third seed, and played Pyramid Lake, the two seed from the West on Thursday in Reno in the single-elimination tourney. The winner of that game will play the winner of McDermitt and Mineral County on Friday at 3 p.m. at Wooster High School. The title game is set for Saturday at 11 a.m.
