Local Halloween events in Eureka County and Crescent Valley

Eureka 

“Kick or Treat” Flicks ’n Floats

The Eureka County Swimming Pool is hosting a Flicks ’n Floats with a Kick or Treat on Oct. 23. The Kick or Treat will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. in the pool and with an on-the-deck trick or treating experience. There will be a sixth grade and under movie night, featuring “Happy Halloween Scooby-Doo!” playing from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., as well as a seventh grade and over movie showing of “A Quiet Place” from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. This event costs $5 per individual and is open to all ages.

Eureka Lions Club Pumpkin Patch

Get some pumpkins at this year’s Eureka Lions Club pumpkin patch on Oct. 25 at the R-Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pumpkins will cost $0.40 each. Guests can expect to have family fun and enjoy baked goods and face painting. Fall photos will be offered by Fabrizio. The event is open to all ages and is sponsored by Raines Market, Eureka 4H Club and the Eureka Lions Club.

5th Annual Halloween Ball

Step back in time for the 1980s Halloween Ball, which is a blast straight from the past at the Eureka Opera House on Oct. 25. This 18+ event invites guests to dress as their favorite 1980s character, whether it be from music, TV, movies, horror films or cartoons. Prizes will be awarded to the best costumes, and a cash bar will be on deck. There is a $10 cover at the door. The event begins at 8 p.m.

Halloween Night at the Museum

Head to the Eureka Sentinel Museum on Oct. 29 for a spooktacular evening of tours, crafts and trick or treating. Halloween costumes are heavily encouraged, but all are invited, costumes or not. Head to the museum anytime between 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event is open to all ages.

Eureka Lions Club Halloween Costume and Carved Pumpkin Contest

Join the Eureka Lions Club for a Halloween Costume and Carved Pumpkin Contest on Oct. 30 at 5:30 p.m. The event takes place at Eureka Elementary School and features reading and skit performances by Diamond Mt. FFA Chapter.

Crescent Valley

CV Trunk ’N Treat

Crescent Valley Volunteer Fire Department is hosting its annual Halloween Trunk ’N Treat on Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m.
