The local library, Mybrary (80 S. Monroe St., Eureka), is introducing new hours to better serve the community and provide more time to find reading materials. For more information, call (775) 237-5307, or check out www.exploremybrary.org.
Effective March 1, Mybrary will have the following schedule:
Monday: 10 a.m – 4 p.m.
Tuesday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Wednesday: Noon – 6 p.m.
Thursday: 2 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday: Noon – 6 p.m.
Story times will be at 2 p.m. on Fridays
The Nevada Talking Book is a national library program dedicated to providing Braille and audio materials for blind and disabled individuals for free. Disabled individuals must be legally blind, unable to read standard print materials due to vision problems or physical limitations, or have reading disabilities in order to be eligible for the literary material. Eligibility must be certified by a medical professional or professional staff from hospitals or welfare offices.
If eligible, the Talking Book will allow patrons to receive literary materials and personalized service.
