Parade of lights and Deck the House spreading holiday cheer

Community members are invited to dress their vehicles in festive decorations and Christmas lights to participate in the Parade of Lights. Parade line-up begins at 5 p.m. at the Crescent Valley Fire Department, with cash prizes given to those whose vehicles are clad in the most festive gear. First, second and third place will receive a $200, $150 and $100 gift card, respectively. 

There is also a Deck the House Holiday Decorating Contest slated to be judged on Dec. 11. Deck the House is intended for the whole valley to participate in, with residents from Eureka County and Crescent Valley encouraged to join in the holiday fun. To register, reach out to Christina at Town Hall to get a judge to your home. Prizes will be awarded at the Christmas party, with first-, second- and third-place winners receiving $200, $150 and $100 respectively.
