MyBrary Community Library announced a fun-filled summer reading program beginning June 9 and running through July 26.
It’s completely free, open to everyone and offers fun to individuals of all ages. The “Create A World of Color” summer reading program’s registration began May 27, with registration open online through the Beanstack app and in person. Participants can expect to dive into a world of imagination and creation, with engaging events, creative crafts and fun prizes for everyone regardless of age. Participants will log hours to reach a certain goal in order to be qualified for prizes.
The age groups are divided into 0-3, 4-11, 12-18 and 18-109 years old. For every two hours read, participants will receive a badge to earn a prize at their local library. Once the target amount of hours are met, individuals will be entered to win the grand prize.
