University of Nevada, Reno Extension invites public to attend free webinar

The University of Nevada, Reno Extension, University of Idaho Extension, Utah State University Extension and Montana State University Extension invite rural communities to participate in a free “Cultivating Healthy Plants” web seminar on Jan. 23 at 11 a.m. This IPM Webinar Series will provide an introduction to cover crops for gardens and small farms. Mair Murray, IPM specialist for Utah State University Extension, and Katie Wagner, horticulture professor at the USU Extension Salt Lake County Office, will discuss cover crops, how to improve soil health and ways to attract pollinators and beneficial organisms and reduce pest damage.
