Vandal boys take down McDermitt, Independence

The Eureka County High School boys basketball team defeated McDermitt and Independence at home over the weekend. The Vandals bested the Bulldogs on Jan. 9, 68-41. The team turned around to defeat the Colts 38-23 the following day.

The Vandals are 5-0 in the 1A East as they host Carlin and Owyhee on Jan. 15 and 16. The team travels to McDermitt and Independence on Jan. 23 and 24, then hosts Lund on Jan. 27 and Wells on the 30th, before traveling to Jackpot on the 31st.
