The Eureka High School football team held the Virginia City Muckers to six points and 139 all-purpose yards in a 30-6 drubbing in Virginia City on Saturday, Oct. 25.
The Vandals intercepted freshman quarterback Elijah Cox twice and allowed just four completed passes on 15 attempts for 35 yards. They forced six punts and allowed just 96 rushing yards.
The White Pine offensive line allowed just one sack of quarterback Joseph Minoletti.
The Vandals (4-4, 4-2) visit league-leading Mineral County (7-1, 7-0) on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the final game of the regular season.
