VFW Post 8194 will honor fallen service members with its annual Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony on Monday, May 26 at 10:30 a.m. The ceremony will take place at 31 S Main Street in Eureka.

The event will feature guest speakers, musical selections, a solemn rifle volley salute, and the playing of Taps conducted over the town cemeteries.
“This tradition serves as a powerful tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation and unites the community in reflection and gratitude,” a statement read.
This event is part of the fourth annual VFW Day of Service, a worldwide initiative involving 2,000 events that bring together veterans and community members. VFW Day of Service emphasizes the important role veterans play in their community as leaders and volunteers.
